Passing on the Ancient Art

Today our sweet little creative combed and pulled her first wool blend. It really was no surprise to me the colors she chose to work with. She has a favorite palette which she considers magical. LOL. It was a joy to see her wonderment, and focus. She then used some of this bat to create her very first weave on a loom made for her by her "Googs" ( my husband ).

Her brother was impressed and wanted to get

in on the fun! So our grands did their first weavings at ages five and eight!

Now L has completed three weavings and wants to try her hand at a circular weave. Oh boy!

This should be interesting, and maybe even surprising! It is a wonderful thing to pass on this ancient art form to another generation!
